Established in 1984, the St. Alphonsus School Foundation was developed to secure the future of St. Alphonsus School. Throughout the years, the success of the foundation has been built through annual gifts by parishioners, alumni, and friends, as well as other resources. The foundation is a tax-deductible corporation governed by a separate and independent Board of Directors, as listed below.
It is the duty of the board to make all business transactions to the foundation, including investments and disbursements of the interest. Total contributions to the foundation since 1984 have been $1,802,377 with a total of $2,137,600 given to St. Alphonsus School.
The foundation provides a monthly contribution to the school in assisting with budget needs, continues to assist in providing current and updated technology needs, as well as providing funds for special requests from the St. Alphonsus School Board and principal.
Every Dollar Helps
The needs of St. Alphonsus School relies on tuition, subsidized funds from St. Alphonsus Church, grants, and most importantly, the St. Alphonsus School Foundation, to meet the needs of the students and staff. Contributions to the foundation are invested in building the principal, which in turn allows the foundation to utilize the interest from the investments in promoting Catholic school values with its contributions to St. Alphonsus School.
