We are a Nurtured Heart Approach® school. We focus on the positive and invest in the greatness of our school family. We talk about God and how He's working in our lives. Our teachers are special and so are our students. Every student is seen, heard, and loved.
Our students earn at their own pace in a quiet environment. We are proud to produce strong readers who have critical thinking skills and are able to ask smart questions. Our students have a high level of empathy and go into the world as includers.
Our average class size is 10 students. We see the benefits of small class sizes as students receive more one-on-one and specialized attention. Our students are able to dive deeper into topics.
We offer the latest technology to our students. We are a 1-to-1 school: each K-8 student has access to their own iPad. We also have a dedicated technology teacher.
Our school has a library, commercial kitchen and lunchroom, large gymnasium, strong music program, and large outdoor green space, and a STEAM lab that was constructed thanks to Giving Hearts Day donations.
Bring your child along and schedule a tour! We would love to show you what we have to offer and answer the questions you may have in person. Email carrie.hope@k12.nd.us to schedule your tour.
We are passionate about helping families meet the cost of private education at our school. We work hard to keep tuition low.
Our yearly tuition for grades K-8 is $1250. That breaks down to $139 per month, or $7 per day.
St. Alphonsus students thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually. An education at St. Alphonsus School is an investment in the future.
Student Scholarships
Student scholarships are available through our Adopt a Student program. This is a program that is supported by our community and generous donors who give anonymously to students and families who need help achieving the tuition total.
I chose St. Alphonsus School for a number of reasons. I wanted my children to have a faith based education. St. Alphonsus School is a family. We are all there for each other. I love the smaller class room size. The field trips are an awesome learning experience. This school takes learning and makes it fun. My children are excited to go to school in the morning and after school I am excited to hear about their day. I feel paying for their education is a small price to pay for what my children get in return. My kids are third generation St Alphonsus School students, as my brother and I went there and so did both of our parents. We are lucky to have St. Alphonsus Catholic School in our small community.
We initially chose St.Alphonsus out of our interest for a faith based education. We have noticed this is not the only benefit. Our child is thriving! The small community at St. Alphonsus has allowed her to develop a great connection with the adults in the building along with children of various ages. She loves school and talks about it often. I can sense she feels confident, secure, and joyful. I can see her faith growing with her prayer and weekly church attendance.
